Description
During your NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver class, you will learn about modern dive equipment, diving sciences, responsible diving practices, and the environment. Diving skills will be taught and practiced first in the comfort and convenience of a confined water environment and finally during your open water training dives with your NAUI Instructor.
This course includes three sessions, one confined water and two open water sessions. It is conducted in a group format and requires a minimum of four students. Course dates are scheduled in-advance and are set.
NITROX is used for all open water dives conducted below 40 feet, and students will receive NITROX instruction as part of this course.
Junior scuba diver certification available (ages 10-14).
